I have a Toshiba laptop that apparently has not been certified by Toshiba to run Creators’ Edition 1703. Unfortunately, Windows update keeps trying to install it after initial download. I set wifi to ‘metered connection’ to prevent automatic future automatic updates, but since it was already downloaded, the auto update continues to attempt and fail installation.
How can I get rid of the downloaded update so it won’t continue trying to install? Can I just delete the install file? Not sure what I’m looking for if so.
Windows 10 devices always keep up to date the latest features. Windows Updates are installed automatically, with no need to select which updates are needed or not needed.
