I just built a new PC and installed Windows 10 from a disc. Windows 10 update seems to fail to install during restart (I get a message like “Install failed, reversing changes”).
I’ve tried using the Troubleshooter to determine and fix any possible issues with the Update tool but to no avail. Any suggestions?
I’ve already installed all my apps and migrated files so I want to avoid doing a clean install.
Thanks in advance
Upgrading to the latest stable version of Windows 10 i.e. 1709 should resolve your issue.
Microsoft provides many options to get the latest feature upgrade manually. You can use:
- Upgrade assistant
- Media Creation Tool
- ISO File
to get Fall Creators update right now.
